Fáilte abhaile!

That means "welcome home." And there it is. I’m finally home after a 16-hour travel day from Scotland, to Ireland, to Chicago, and here to South Dakota. I'm so grateful to be back in the bosom of my family, as they say—the two-legged, the four-legged, the winged, and the gilled (and I'm probably so jet-lagged that I'm just weepy to be on the ground). This will be my last blog post here, at least for a good while. I’ll compile these posts and save them. I’m not quite sure what I’ll do with them yet, or the eventual shape of the project, as I imagine it will take me some time to distill, process, and review. There’s SO much. I loved Edinburgh, but today, a little jet-lagged and napping on and off, I’m really missing Ireland. I expected the trip would be transformational, and I think I’m feeling that a little today. I only caught a wee bit of TV on the trip when I stayed in hotels, never in the Air B&B’s, which was most of the time, but...
